If this crossword is too difficult for your students, make it easier.
This can be done in several different ways.
Method a: Give
students the first letter of some of the main words in the crossword.
Method b: Give
students anagrams of some of the main words in the crossword.
Method c:
If you have a monolingual class, give students the
equivalents of
some or all of the words they are looking for, in their own language
Method d:
Get students started, by giving them one key answer, either
in the grid or for them to place.
Method e:
Have students do this crossword in groups of two or three.
